Kangnam Korean BBQ

My old team invited me to join them for lunch at Kangnam.

Everybody ordered the $27.99 lunch special.

In addition to the various meats I also tried the fried chicken potstickers.

Potstickers had a crunchy outer layer and I loved the chicken and cabbage filling.

Top blade steak was tender and full of beefy flavor.
Beef belly had tons of beefy flavor from the rendered fat and char.

Beef bulgogi was tender and had lots of beefy flavor and a sweetness from the marinade.
Pork galbi was tender and had tons of flavor from the marinade and char from the grill
Soy chicken was tender and had a delicious soy sauce based flavor.

For dessert I tried the frozen strawberry bar.

Loved the mix of flavors from the strawberry popsicle like outer layer and the creamy apple inner layer.

Staff was very nice and hardworking with an assist from the robot.  I loved all the food here and it was great cooking it yourself as you get just the amount of doneness you want.  Was great seeing the team again.
