Home Depot Radiant Barrier insulation
It’s summer and my place is heating up. I am always on the lookout for ways to better insulate my home. I was looking at insulation on the Home Depot website and noticed this product. Reflective Insulation Radiant Barrier Roll At 5mm thick was the perfect thickness to place outside my hottest window. It was stiff and fit perfectly between my screen and the outside of my window.

Chula Tacos – Ocean Beach
Nice location a block from the beach. The windows are open and a screen keeps the flies out. I tried 3 of their tacos. All came with a corn tortilla which was soft and moist with a nice mild corn flavor.

Habit Burger & Grill
In the days of my youth there used to be a dirt field here. I walked through it to get to the mall after school. A gas station came later. Now it’s a burger joint called the Habit. I’ve visited many Habits in San Diego but this one is my favorite.

Ike’s Love & Sandwiches – La Jolla
I love the La Jolla location of Ike’s. There is a ton of free parking in the underground structure so my car stays cool while I eat.
