Chula Tacos – Ocean Beach

Nice location a block from the beach.  The windows are open and a screen keeps the flies out.  I tried 3 of their tacos.  All came with a corn tortilla which was soft and moist with a nice mild corn flavor.

Chicken taco had chunks of chicken breast.  I loved the smoky flavor of chicken which was char’d on a charcoal grill.  Chicken was tender and moist.

Carne asada taco had tender beef with a nice mild flavor.  A bit dry.

Al pastor taco was my favorite.  Pork was tender, full of flavor and dripping juices all over the container.

3 tacos made for a big meal as the tortillas were small but stuffed with meat.  Staff was nice and efficient.

Very nice place to eat with the fresh sea air drifting in as the world walks by.
