Chili’s – Clairemont

It’s rare that I go out for bbq outside of local rib joints.  I am usually disappointed.  I gave Chili’s a try as they sent me a coupon for a free dessert for my birthday week.

Nice hostess opened the door for me.

Nice waiter found out they smoked their bbq in applewood.  I ordered a full rack of ribs expecting to take half home for leftovers.  Ribs were very tender and had a light smoky flavor as well as sweetness from the sauce.  Very good tasting ribs.

Fries were crispy and I liked the salty fried flavor.

Peanut butter pie made with Reese’s was very sweet and full of peanut butter and chocolate flavors.  Loved the crunchy chocolate crust which contrasted the creamy filling.

Soda water was cold, bubbly, and refreshing.

I was impressed by how nice the staff was.  I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here.  Everything I tried was very good.
